Morphing Bubbles!

WARNING! THE "GAME" DOES NOT WORK YET! THE APPLET BELOW IS JUST A SANDBOX FOR TESTING.

Below you can see an example of the game engine. I will be adding more logic later to handle scoring and (more importantly) popping of bubbles.

Right now you can do the following:
1. Click to add a new bubble.
2. Hover over bubbles to select duos.
3. Click while hold "shift" to switch the duo in a very cool morphing effect.
4. Watch two bubbles merge if they have the same color and are touching.

Attention: People who want to contact Carl Sciortino

My e-mail address, though very short and snazzy does in fact deliver messages to me, Tommaso, and not Massachusetts State Representative Carl Sciortino. I'm pretty sure Carl doesn't go around handing out my e-mail address so if you're sending something to me it's probably because you remembered it wrong.

To be honest I don't mind forwarding the occasional e-mail. I'm also a Democrat, and I'm proud to have someone who is almost certainly a distant distant relative serving in government. But you shouldn't depend on the kindness of strangers.

That is all.

Adventures in Notarizing

A month or so back I got my first moving violation ticket.

My family has long known about the notorious ticket-trap at Fury Ln & Wieghorst Way. We've seen many a driver getting ticketed for failing to come to a full and complete stop. But for some reason when I was last in San Diego I decided to roll through stop perhaps trusting to my luck to save me. Well, no such luck was to be had.

I knew that I was getting a ticket as soon as I looked to my left where the police car is usually parked. To my surprise, a police car was parked there. I saw him. He saw me. I decided that I was clearly guilty as sin so there was really no way out of it. I just pulled over. He didn't even need to turn on his siren.

The penalty for performing a California Stop in California is apparently about $300. This I didn't mind as much; I was after all guilty as sin*. The annoying part was the traffic school. I choose an on-line course that was only slightly annoying and at the conclusion I had to get the final test notarized so I could get credit for it.

I kept on putting it off until the deadline drew near but when I investigated my options I found that there weren't that many notarization places open when I wasn't working. Over three consecutive week-ends I tried to get the test notarized and each time I failed. Finally, today, I decided that I was going to get this damn thing notarized come hell or high-wasted pants.

Well... I can tell that this is boring you guys. To make a long story short I gave up and on my way home I realized that there was a notary place on the block where I live and that is was open. I got it notarized there.

*Also, unlike some anarchist libertarians I accept the legitimacy of the state.

Less bugs

Ok. Here's the latest code. It should have fewer bugs though you can still get it to crash if you work really hard. Let me know your frame rate in the comments.
